Monel Silver and Sterling Silver - Belle Fever Designs

Many times we try to find the best jewellery for that special occasion. But at times, we want our jewellery to last for years to come which is why we invest our monies into these special pieces.

I love Silver designs, however, I dislike when they start becoming dark and showing signs of tarnishing. Once my jewellery starts becoming like this, they are discarded and the new search for a replacement begins.

Many designs today are made with Sterling silver which means at some point they will tarnish even if you try to take great care of the design.

Sterling silver is known as a metal alloy which means that there is a combination of metals instead of just a single one which includes copper, zinc or nickel.

At times designs such as this can be harsh on the skin and cause many reactions. In doing my research for the best jewellery piece, I was able to find a jewellery company, Belle Fever that milled their own materials known as Monel Silver.

Now Monel Silver was created by the designer, Sarah as a solution to her other pieces turning black or fading within a few days. She tested and trialed until she found the perfect solution which was a superior silver material that features the durability of titanium, but easier to cut into custom jewellery and is nickel-free.

Monel silver has a warm white gold hue – without the expense! This material is affordable and durable and developed to have anti-tarnish, hypoallergenic properties. Monel Silver is exclusively available across the full Belle Fever jewellery range.

Their gold and rose gold jewellery is also unique with the gold or rose gold being infused into the Monel silver, rather than plated. Infused gold is a far superior method to gold plating, as it does not fade or lose its luster over time. Plus infused gold and rose gold pieces are durable and safe to wear all the time – in the shower, exercising or even in swimming pools.

You can see and feel the quality of the materials and craftsmanship. Each detail is created with care and love to last for a lifetime. All their pieces are solid and thick at sizes 1.5 - 2mm, so will not bend or look flimsy when worn.

The perfect pieces to make a statement!!
