Preparing for a wedding is a BIG event, thankfully if we have friends and family that can help out by chipping in some of their time it can take a load off our shoulders.
My sister just got married and with 4 kids, work and running a household, I found it very hard to fully help out but I did what I can. I created her invitations and created the wedding rings for her and her husband.
I was one of the bridesmaids and I saw how much effort and time the other bridesmaids all chipped in for her wedding so on behalf of her, I wanted to do something special for them.
The wedding was beautiful with the song “a thousand years” by Christina Perri playing in the back waiting for all of us to enter. When I met with all the bridesmaids I gifted them with a rose gold dream locket each. Inside I placed their initial, a pink (June) and orange (November) birthstone, to keep with the dress and wedding theme, and a December birthstone to represent my sisters birthday.
The girls loved it, not only for the design but the meaning of each piece. The guests also complimented about how beautiful it was and how it matched our dresses. Most importantly it was a gift of appreciation from the heart to thank them for their dedication and time.
