An Easter Treat

Start a new tradition with these chocolate-dipped peanut butter eggs. You can put names on them in frosting or decorate. You will create wonderful memories.

Peanut Butter Easter Eggs

16oz powdered sugar

1 cup creamy peanut butter

¼ cup butter

1 tablespoon milk

8 semi-sweet chocolate squares (1oz each)

Combine butter, sugar, milk and peanut butter until well blended. Shape into eggs and freeze for one hour. While the eggs are in the freezer, cut up the chocolate squares and melt with shortening in a double boiler over medium heat. Use a long-tined fork to dip the eggs in the melted chocolate and set on wax paper and cool completely. Then, decorate any way you like.
